Title: Scheduler - Seattle Convention Center

Job Description
The Scheduler is responsible for assisting management with tasks including but not limited to: tasks related to union employee scheduling, tasks related to compliance reporting and discipline, serving as the frontline for general employee questions, supporting hiring events and orientations, and other administrative tasks as needed. Primarily, the Scheduler audits and inputs union employee schedules weekly in addition to contacting union employees directly for scheduling changes on short notice. This position spends a significant amount of time on the phone making and answering calls which may occasionally exceed 100 calls a day. The Scheduler will be required to work with employees and other key stakeholders in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for adhering to Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and seniority lists in creating and maintaining event schedules for union employees.
• Responsible for running regular reporting related to attendance, availability, and other employee compliance. Assists management with assembling disciplinary notices related to compliance.
• Assists unit management with clerical tasks in including filing, data entry, record review and maintenance, etc.
• Greets employees and answers inquiries or directs calls where necessary
• Maintain office memos and informative postings
• Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. Prior administrative experience preferred.
• Excellent written/interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to optimally connect with employees.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong digital literacy is required of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) Internet, typing, other databases and spreadsheet software.
• Requires frequent performance of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms
