Job Description

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Food & Beverage leadership team at Denali Park Village. This role assists with scheduling, payroll coordination, purchasing, inventory tracking, reporting, and general office administration to ensure smooth daily operations across F&B outlets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, seasonal hospitality environment.

Summer days in Alaska stretch nearly endlessly, with up to 20 hours of daylight on the Summer Solstice. Spanning 6.2 million acres, Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Denali, the highest peak in North America, and attracts over half a million visitors annually. Conveniently accessible by road—4.5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks—this breathtaking area offers daily bus services along the park road throughout the warm summer months, providing opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing, climbing, and camping. 

Located just 7 miles south of the entrance to Denali National Park, the Denali Park Village Hotel operates from May to September. Our guests enjoy comfortable accommodations, exceptional dining options, and live entertainment in a stunning natural setting. 

Position Details: This exciting seasonal role is available from May to September 2026. We offer competitive wages, comfortable on-site housing, and a variety of fun activities to keep your summer vibrant. Stay active in our on-site gym and enjoy an inclusive meal plan for just $16 a day. 

Job Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support to the F&B Director, Managers, and Supervisors
  • Assist with weekly scheduling, timecard tracking, and payroll documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee records, certifications, and onboarding documentation
  • Prepare internal communications, memos, and reports related to F&B operations

Purchasing & Inventory

  • Assist with ordering food, beverage, and operating supplies
  • Track invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders for accuracy and cost control
  • Help maintain inventory records and assist with periodic inventories
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to support timely deliveries

Reporting & Compliance

  • Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and end‑of‑season reports
  • Assist with maintaining compliance documentation (health permits, food safety logs, training records)
  • Support audits, inspections, and brand or company reporting requirements as needed

General Office & Guest Support

  • Answer phones, emails, and internal inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Serve as a point of contact between F&B management and other hotel departments
  • Provide limited guest assistance or direction as needed
  • Support special projects, events, and peak‑season operational needs

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, office, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); scheduling or POS experience a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high‑volume environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with a strong sense of confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
