Job Description

This is an OPX Training Manager is responsible for driving training excellence across multiple accounts, ensuring employees and leaders receive effective onboarding, skills training, and ongoing development. This role develops training programs, SOPs, and compliance initiatives for custodial, floor care, grounds, and facility services operations. The position works independently while partnering with Operations leadership, HR, and clients to support a workforce of approximately 800 employees.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $75,000.00 to $85,000.00. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulations.
  • Lead new hire onboarding and operational training for frontline employees and managers.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs, training manuals, and training documentation.
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs across multiple shifts, including occasional weekends.
  • Support 3 accounts, with primary responsibility at McCormick Place.
  • Train employees in custodial services, restroom sanitation, office cleaning, floor care, carpet maintenance, grounds upkeep, and snow removal.
  • Assess training needs and develop programs that support operational goals and employee performance.
  • Partner with General Managers, HR, and Operations leadership to drive training compliance and workforce development.
  • Track training progress, maintain records, and ensure completion of required training initiatives.
  • Pull, analyze, and present training and operational reports to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on floor care equipment, custodial best practices, and grounds services.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying training gaps and recommending solutions.
  • Leverage tools and technology to improve training effectiveness and operational support.
  • Communicate training updates, trends, and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Manage the full training lifecycle independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in training, workforce development, EVS, or facilities operations.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs, SOPs, and training materials for large workforces.
  • Strong knowledge of custodial operations, floor care equipment, grounds maintenance, and landscaping services.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate training across multiple shifts and locations.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Union workforce experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; local travel between accounts is required.
