Ready to elevate your clinical career? Aramark Healthcare+ is searching a Full-Time Lead Dietitian based at Jefferson Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. This impactful role collaborates closely with the clinical nutrition management team to provide exceptional, patient-centered care. Although this position has no direct reports, you will play a key leadership role in performance improvement projects, mentoring dietetic interns and provide MNT and nutrition education.
Schedule: Monday- Friday with Rotating Weekends
Job Responsibilities
- Assists management in completion of chart audits, quality improvement projects, and other duties as assigned
- Conduct patient nutrition assessment on a population that may include higher overall patient acuity.
- Provide nutrition counseling for individuals and groups, taking into consideration any adaptations to teaching methods required to meet patient learning needs.
- Use assessment & evaluation techniques that take into consideration the various needs of age-specific populations as well as cultural, religious, and ethnic concerns.
- Partner with medical professionals to meet objectives and to find innovative ways to shorten hospital lengths of stay and to minimize rates of readmission.
- Provide appropriate and timely documentation that summarizes the nutrition care plan in the patient’s medical record, including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, plan, implementation, and progress toward goals.
- Demonstrate accountability for the proper use of patients’ protected health information.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Registered Dietitian (RD) / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required
- 2 years or more clinical practice experience
- Licensed Dietitian status in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition
Conditions of employment include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
