Reporting to the Campground Host, the Campground Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction at the Zephyr Cove Campground by assisting with guest needs, and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe, hospitality, outdoor recreation, & lake cruises are the highlights of our business. ​Activities include hiking, paddleboarding, skiing, snowboarding, boating & fishing. The town of Lake Tahoe offers shopping, concerts, art shows, & exciting night life. 

Job Responsibilities

•    Provide campground and recreational area information and rules to campers and visitors.
•    Answer visitors’ questions and provide information about local services and attractions.
•    Help campers and visitors contact emergency assistance as needed.
•    Maintain written logs of camper and visitor activity, information, and incidents.
•    Patrol campground and recreational areas on a regular basis to assess and report on the status.
•    Regularly inspect and clean campground restrooms, picnic areas, campsites, campfire pits and other areas to ensure they are safe and clean for use.
•    Ensures security of company assets and a safe work environment through daily maintenance and housekeeping.
•    Works in conditions that involve exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures.
•    Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

•    Greet and provide customer service to guests while anticipating their needs
•    Supply guests or travelers with directions, travel information, and other information such as available services and points of interest.
•    Book reservations, rentals, and coordinate registration
•    Operate a register and/or software system to complete cash and credit card transactions.
•    Answers phone calls and emails and delivers messages as needed.
•    Coordinate resolution of guest concerns
•    Communicates closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
•    Adheres to safety policies and procedures to ensure safety of guests.
•    Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures.

Qualifications

•    Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
•    Must be available to work flexible hours
•    Multi-lingual skills a plus  
•    Campground Host or Attendant experience preferred
•    Sit, stand and walk for varied amounts of time


 This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
