Job Description

Under supervision of the Garage Manager, perform administrative and operational support 

of the transportation system including but not limited to fuel, move, or assist commercial drivers and mechanics with vehicles or any other tasks as assigned by Garage Management.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $32.90 to $32.90. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate reports and communication workflow related to daily preventative maintenance, visual inspections, repairs, adjustments, servicing and lubrication on vehicles and other equipment related to transportation systems and maintenance support.  

• Fuel all company vehicles, and any other equipment.  

• Facilitate workflow and communication, for both administrative and operational duties of the Vehicle Maintenance Technicians to the Garage and Transportation team in a timely manner.  

• Chain or cable company vehicles within the Transportation facility grounds, assist co-workers and park guests in chaining procedures, and provide additional support for company drivers outside the Transportation facility grounds.  

• Fabricate chains to fit variable sized tires.  

• Complete inventory counts on various materials, supplies, and equipment, and submits order to Garage Manager.  

• Operate required hand tools and shop equipment.  

• Drive company vehicles to maintain vehicle mechanics of lubrication.  

• Maintain vehicle fluid levels.  

• Assist or manage replacement or rotation of tires.  

• Replace windshield wipers.  

• Perform Garage and Transportation department errands, including but not limited to pick up or delivery of vehicles.  

• Filing paperwork, documentation, and reporting in correspondence with the Transportation Manager. 

• Willingness and ability to work late evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B with passenger endorsement. Prefer valid Class B & C with passenger endorsement.  

• One or more years commercial driving experience.   

• Ability to follow directions with minimum supervision.  

• Basic computer proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and word processor. Prefer experience with computerized maintenance management system applications and computer proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and word processor.  

• Must be able to interact and possess communication skills with individuals at all levels of organization, as well as clients and vendors.  

• Must comply with all applicable safety and local regulations, standards, and procedures.  

• Must be able to clearly communicate and write in a clear and concise manner.  

• Shall possess the ability to receive and give oral and written instructions.  
• Must be able to meet all pre-employment requirements. 
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks 
• Exercise considerable judgment based on previous experience to solve problems 
• May act as an informal resource for those with less experience 
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends 
   

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
