The Night Housing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all Night Housing operations within employee housing, and ensuring a safe, secure, well-managed community environment for all occupants. This role works closely with the Leadership Team to supervise the Night Housing staff, coordinate operational functions, and support community standards. The supervisor provides direction, oversight, and accountability for patrols, incident response, housing policy enforcement, and occupant support during evening and overnight hours. 

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $21.00 to $23.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new systems, online or in the field  
  • Delegates tasks to the Night Housing staff from Housing Management 
  • Participate in the overall planning and supervision of Night Housing operations and provide insight in the development of policies and procedures 
  • Coordinate administrative operations regarding housing 
  • Supervise and coordinate all room assignments per Housing Management, changes and communicate/resolve problems in accordance with established procedures 
  • Be available, approachable, and professional within the housing areas to all employees 
  • Uphold all housing policies and procedures 
  • Mediate and document conflicts between employees when necessary 
  • Uphold the established standards of privacy and confidentiality 
  • On call to respond and assist the Night Housing staff to all inquiries, emergencies, complaints, etc. from employees related to housing areas  
  • Complete nightly logs and communicate with Housing Management daily 
  • Responsible for providing and maintaining extraordinary levels of service through a high level of influence, execution, and prioritizing of duties 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, fair employment practice, and any applicable government labor regulations 
  • Partner and collaborate on a regular basis with Yosemite Hospitality Management, Maintenance, HR Team, NPS Law Enforcement, Wildlife, and all Emergency Services 
  • Ensure fire extinguishers are checked and in compliance 
  • Ensure all doors, windows and loading docks are safe, and communicate with Managers on call for their respected operations  
  • Ensure all Yosemite Hospitality assets are safe and protected 
  • Review and ensure inspections are complete on all Yosemite Hospitality vehicles 
  • Assist with Housing team duties during day shifts when needed 
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by Housing Management

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a Human Resources, Employee Services, or Security 
  • Must have excellent planning, administrative, computer, and supervisory skills 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively deal with a wide variety of personnel 
  • Able to work in all weather conditions and meet the physical requirements of the job 
  • Previous experience supervising employee housing, or student housing preferred 
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, nights, events, and holidays as needed 
  • Driver’s License required 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
