Job Description

 The Guest Recreation Cashier is responsible for accurately processing merchandise transactions, maintaining the balance of the cash drawer, and maintaining their assigned work locations, while providing excellent customer service. 

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $19.55 to $19.55. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests upon their arrival in the Ski Rentals Office
  • Make telephone and in person reservations and check on internet reservations
  • Develop a strong knowledge of all products and services offered in order to constantly up sell
  • Ensure all customers required paperwork is completed
  • Guest Recreation Cashier should be highly knowledgeable about the Badger Pass. This includes but is not limited to: ski runs, retail, food & beverage services, tours and activities, and surrounding area amenities
  • Learn and use POS System 
  • Maintain a daily bank and be accountable for all transactions
  • Handle cash and credit cards in a safe and accurate manner
  • Must be proficient in counting money, able to provide guests with change whenever needed and make accurate cash deposits at the end of each shift; ensuring all required paperwork is completed
  • Ensure a clean and pleasant atmosphere of the Ski Rentals Office at all times
  • Maintain daily side work and ensure any required logs are completed in a timely manner
  • Effectively communicate with guests to ensure all guests receive prompt and courteous service
  • Use basic office equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be fluent in English language both spoken and written
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Previous hospitality and sales experience preferred
  • 6 months Cash Handling experience

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
