Job Description
The Night Housing Worker is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and operational continuity of employee housing during overnight hours. This role performs scheduled patrols, responds to employee concerns and incidents, maintains accurate logs and documentation, enforces housing policies, and coordinates with the Company Operator, management, and emergency services when necessary. The position requires a high degree of independence, professionalism, situational awareness, and strict adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures. The specific responsibilities and essential functions may vary depending on the Aramark site, client needs, and business requirements.
Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $20.00 to $20.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform nightly patrols of employee housing areas to ensure compliance with housing guidelines, quiet hours, safety standards, and wildlife protection requirements
- Conduct routine inspections of housing facilities to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, vandalism, unsecured areas, or policy violations and report findings appropriately
- Respond professionally to resident concerns, including noise complaints, lockouts, welfare checks, and general housing inquiries
- Enforce housing policies through preventative engagement, documentation, and escalation in accordance with established procedures
- Complete accurate written logs, incident documentation, and required reports in a timely and confidential manner
- Coordinate with Housing Management, Human Resources, emergency services, and National Park Service (NPS) Law Enforcement when incidents require escalation or external response
- Assist with employee housing check‑ins, check‑outs, unit moves, and temporary housing assignments, including verification of identity, completion of required documentation, and key issuance
- Maintain accountability and control of housing keys, master keys, vehicles, and other assigned assets in accordance with security and confidentiality requirements
- Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly while complying with all traffic laws and company policies
- Support asset protection efforts by securing company facilities, monitoring non‑housing areas after hours, and reporting suspicious activity or damage
- Assist with emergency response activities, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and safety threats, while following hands‑off and personal safety protocols
- Protect confidential employee and housing information and ensure all records are handled in compliance with privacy and HR standards
- Promote a safe, respectful, and professional living environment for all employees through consistent application of policies and effective communication
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support housing operations, safety, and employee services during overnight hours

Qualifications
- Previous experience working in communal housing or security preferred
- Must hold proper driver’s license based on state/local regulations
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining professionalism, sound judgment, and situational awareness
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and confidentiality requirements consistently
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to complete accurate logs, incident reports, and detailed written documentation
- Effective verbal communication skills to interact respectfully with employees, management, Human Resources, emergency responders, and law enforcement
- Ability to enforce housing policies and guidelines through calm, professional engagement and de‑escalation techniques
- Ability to assess situations involving safety risks, intoxication, medical concerns, or emergencies and escalate appropriately according to protocol
- Attention to detail and accountability in handling keys, confidential records, housing assignments, and company assets
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies
- Ability to perform routine patrols, facility inspections, and physical checks of housing and company areas
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee housing information, incident details, and personnel records
- Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to stressful, sensitive, or high‑risk situations while prioritizing personal and public safety
- Basic administrative capability to complete forms, manage paperwork, and follow check‑in, check‑out, and housing move processes accurately
