Job Description
Under supervision of the Garage Manager, performs all aspects of assisting and retrieving disabled vehicles including but not limited to driving to locations of disabled vehicles, installing towing rigging, recovering vehicles off road, and towing vehicles to garage. Performs safety check of tow truck at start of shift. Calculates and collects payment of towing services or any other tasks as assigned by Management.
COMPENSATION: The hourly rate of pay for this position is $24.35- $24.35. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
- Performs road service including but not limited to towing or vehicle relocations, fueling assistance, jump starts, snow chain, and lock out road services for fleet and guest assistance.
- Performs minor roadside mechanical work including but not limited to flat tire repair, mechanical analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Clean up minor hazardous material spills within compliance of safety and environmental requirements including but not limited to vehicle accidents, on-scene clean ups, emergency fuel station issues and garage maintenance.
- Assist customers in minor to major accidents including but not limited to first on-scene response assistance, towing vehicle(s), and standard clean up among the scenes.
- Filing paperwork, documentation, and reporting in correspondence with the tow truck services.
- Willingness and ability to work late evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
- Valid Class A California State Driver’s License.
- Previous minor auto repair knowledge.
- Ability to follow directions with minimum supervision.
- Basic computer proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and word processor.
- Must be able to interact and possess communication skills with individuals at all levels of organization, as well as guests, customers, and vendors.
- Must comply with all applicable safety and local regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Must be able to clearly communicate and write in a clear and concise manner.
- Shall possess the ability to receive and give oral and written instructions.
- Must be able to meet all pre-employment requirements.
- Must be able to do a variety of physical activities including but not limited to climbing, bending, crawling, reaching, stooping, grasping, squatting, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. and at least 75 lbs. with assistance.
- Must be able to stand and work for 8 hours or more.
- Able to walk on uneven ground.
- Use and wear of protective equipment, including but not limited for biohazards and chemicals.
- Exposure to dust, gas, fumes, or chemicals.
- Exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity, or wetness.
- Able to safely drive a vehicle including inclement weather and road conditions.
- Able to work in potential situations that can be graphic, environmental, and safety challenges within the working or driving elements and environment.
- Must have a positive attitude towards the job and the duties assigned and willingness to learn, all which should align to Aramark’s Core Values, LEARN, WEST, and SERVE.
