Job Description

The Employee Recreation Worker assists in planning and facilitating organized employee community sporting, social, exercise and wellness events. Committed to delivering the highest level of positive experience for our Yosemite team members.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate of pay for this position is $16.80. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

The Employee Recreation Worker will play an important role in employee activities and community leadership throughout the park.

•   Ability to choreograph your activity/event to educate and engage employees of all ages and backgrounds
•  Must be able to work in diverse populations in a supportive professional manner
•  Must be honest, dependable and forthright, with the ability to confidently work without direct supervision
•  Maintain a positive attitude, always willing to lend a helping hand as needed
•  Responsible for educating self on the local resources and culture to be well-prepared to provide information and direct employees to the correct resources
•  Ability to provide interpretation in a variety of settings
•  Diplomatically handle employee concerns/complaints
•  Ensures security and longevity of company assets and a safe work environment through daily housekeeping cleaning tasks
•  Must be flexible- willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

•    Must be comfortable working long days in extreme weather
•    Strong English communication skills are required
•    Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current Driver's License
•    Previous event planning and community engagement preferred
•    Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
•    Must be available to work flexible hour  
•    Sit, stand and walk for varied amounts of time
