Job Description
The Retail/Residential Supervisor overseeing the POD Market will coordinate, plan, participate in, and supervise the production, preparation, and presentation of food and supplies within a designated retail/residential unit. This role ensures operational excellence, high-quality service, and full compliance with company standards and food safety regulations.
Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $27.00 to $30.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the POD Market, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Coordinate food production, merchandising, and inventory controls
- Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of team members
- Oversee staff scheduling and provide hands-on leadership during service
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation
- Ensure accurate pricing, labeling, and retail display setup

Manage inventory, ordering, and waste control

Deliver excellent customer service and address guest concerns promptly
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas

Provide operational support across the Commons dining location as needed

Assist with scheduling and labor coverage to meet operational needs
- Coach employees on service standards, food quality, and safety practices

Qualifications
• Two to three years’ experience in a related culinary position
• Candidate will possess two to three years of post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree
• Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
• Experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or problems
• Excellent oral, reading, and written communication skills
• Candidate must be willing to be hands on with staff and operations and be willing to work event-based hours that include evenings and weekends.
