Title:  Nutrition Intern - West Chester University

As a Nutrition Intern, you will assist Aramark managers with various administrative tasks to support campus operations.  Assist in paper filing, invoice data entry, event planning, marketing and tabling. This position is ideal for a nutrition student in any track. Prior foodservice experience is helpful in order to understand the environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with catering orders inputting into system, email contact with clients to confirm orders, or invoicing
• Assist with filing paperwork as needed
• Collaborate with campus RD and other nutrition interns to plan events 
• Assist in creation of nutrition-related educational materials and promotional graphics
• Event promotion on social media
• Support nutrition event set up, breakdown, or execution
• Help with service at theme meals or other WCU Dining events

Qualifications

• West Chester University nutrition or related major preferred
• Organized & independent
• Previous food service experience preferred
• Demonstrates guest service skills

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
