Title:  Barista/Catering Services Worker Lead

Job Description

The Catering and Premium Services Lead Worker is responsible for the oversight or delegation of responsibilities within catering and/or other premium services operations. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs. 

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $19.00 to $24.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes orders, processes cash and credit card transactions
• Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and the customers’ requests
• Serves prepared food items
• Maintains knowledge of menu items and recipes to effectively service the customer
• Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing
• Maintains appearance of location ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels and all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains excellent customer service, anticipating guests needs
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation

Qualifications

• ​​​​​​Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role preferred
• Previous experience as a server or in a food service role required
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Requires ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification
• Requires constant standing and walking
• Requires frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs.
• Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
