Aramark is seeking an energetic and experienced Beverage Manager to join our team at Capital One Arena. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar management role, with a strong focus on creating and managing beverage programs, ensuring compliance, and enhancing guest experiences. 

 

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $85,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.​

Job Responsibilities

  • Program Development:

    • Create and manage beverage programs for both concessions and premium areas.
    • Develop and implement service and standards programs across Capital One Arena.
    • Ensure all beverage offerings are compliant with alcohol serving regulations.
  • Training and Standards:

    • Develop and lead training sessions for staff on beverage service standards.
    • Maintain high standards of service and compliance throughout the arena.
    • Ensure staff are knowledgeable about cocktail and beverage service compliance.
  • Compliance and Quality Control:

    • Ensure compliance with all regulations related to alcohol service.
    • Monitor and audit beverage service to maintain high standards.
    • Implement programs to ensure consistent service quality and compliance.
  • Guest Experience:

    • Develop strategies to enhance the overall guest experience through beverage offerings.
    • Analyze feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote beverage programs.
  • Leadership and Management:

    • Lead by example and inspire staff to deliver exceptional service.
    • Manage and oversee beverage operations during events.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all beverage-related inquiries and issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar management role.
  • Strong background in beverage program development and management.
  • Proven experience in training and maintaining service standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work an event-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
  • Familiarity with beverage compliance regulations and standards.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategies for improvement.
