Job Description

The Contact Center Manager I position is responsible for managing 60+ On-Call Housekeepers hourly union employees. The Contact Center Manager I is responsible for Interfaces between the facilities department and the On-Call union employees. This position will be responsible for calling in On-Call Housekeepers on 1st and 2nd shifts to cover for routes in several buildings at the Global Technical Center. The Contact Center Manager will also be responsible for managing the Attendance call offs, leave early and provide written disciplinary documents to Supervisors.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and be accountable for a safe culture that fosters a work environment where no one gets hurt.
  •  Communicates with other departments
  • Work with Kronos system to prepare and communicate estimates of time and materials required to accomplish jobs.
  •  Ensure that continuous and closed loop communications take place with all supervisors
  • Coordinates with all supervisors and keep General Manager informed of employees coming into work and jobs not being filled by On-Callers
  • Communicate backlog attendance reports regularly to the General Manager and Supervisors
  • Share feedback coming from Supervisors to General Manager about On-Callers reporting to buildings work ethic, etc.
  • Maintains a complete Attendance schedules and Attendance write ups
  • Attend company related training programs, as identified.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field with 2-3 years of technical experience in the appropriate facility services environment required.

 

  • Experience directing skilled, semi-skilled and non-skilled personnel in a union and/or non-union environment is required.
  • Strong computer literacy with strengths in financial analysis, report preparation and interpretation skills are crucial.
  • Previous guest service and/or training or teaching experience desirable.
  • Superior communication, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills.
  • Confident and assertive enough to provide on the spot service training.
  • Must be computer literate; proficiency with Excel.
  • Must be highly organized and have great attention to detail.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all company staff. Proven ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships.
  • Experience in meeting facilitation desirable.
