Brandeis Hospitality is accepting applications to serve as a Student Sustainability Intern. The chosen applicant will have the opportunity to participate in educational outreach events and gain experiential knowledge in the field of food service sustainability. Brandeis Hospitality’s sustainability programs include multi-stream waste reduction and diversion, Coolfood Meals, emissions reduction, local partnerships, responsible sourcing, sustainability education, and more!  

 

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $15.00 to $15.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support sustainability goals and initiatives within the dining program and collaborate with Brandeis’ Student Union, the Dining Committee, and other student groups/departments 

  • Assist with expansion of food donation program  

  • Local and sustainable procurement auditing and tracking 

  • Assisting with events including Wipe Out Waste, Just Try It, Pick Your Portion, Food Waste Prevention Week, Earth Month and other sustainability initiatives 

  • Social media content generation
