Job Description

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing and Social Media Assistant to support our campus dining program. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with students, creating compelling content, and making a positive impact on campus life.

Job Responsibilities

• Tabling to help educate students on how to use their meal plans on campus and how to upgrade their meal plans, or purchase a commuter meal plans
• Creating signage and marketing collateral.
• Canva experience is preferred, but we can train on this if needed.
• Crafting social media posts and engagement around our dining services program.
• Support and schedule localized social media content via internal tools.

• Engaging with students in our dining spaces to collect feedback to better the dining program on campus.
• Conducting a full analysis on results and implementing changes with the operations team.
• Assist management team with assorted administrative tasks.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of campus dining events, including meal plan tabling events, promotional activities, and health and wellness initiatives.
• Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Requires content creation experience (blogs, press releases, internal communication, social media posts)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• An eye for design and branding and social media trends
• Strong research, project management and analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Requires frequent performance of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms
