The Facilities Director leads all facility operations, maintenance, and infrastructure services within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of building systems and production-support utilities while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The Director oversees maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, capital projects, and vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to company standards and SOPs. Working closely with site leadership, engineering, EHS, and operations teams, this position supports business objectives through operational excellence, asset reliability, and a strong culture of safety. Experience managing industrial facilities, including HVAC, boilers, electrical systems, and other critical utilities, is preferred.

• Lead and direct all facility maintenance, engineering, and infrastructure operations to support a safe, efficient, and productive manufacturing environment.
• Ensure operational excellence through execution of site maintenance programs, reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts that support manufacturing uptime and production goals.
• Maintain compliance with all company, client, OSHA, environmental, and regulatory requirements, while promoting a strong culture of safety.
• Oversee critical facility and utility systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, boilers, compressed air, plumbing, water systems, fire protection, and energy management programs.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and asset performance.
• Lead capital improvement projects, facility upgrades, and infrastructure investments to support operational and business objectives.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure quality service, cost control, and adherence to site standards.
• Partner with plant leadership, operations, engineering, EHS, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for maintenance managers, supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
• Develop and manage operating budgets, capital budgets, and forecasting activities while explaining variances and driving financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all client agreements, company standards, policies, and contractual obligations.Utilize maintenance management systems and operational metrics to track performance, drive accountability, and support data-driven decision-making.

• 5-7+ years of facilities, maintenance, engineering, or operations leadership experience within a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or production environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements within an industrial setting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing maintenance teams, supervisors, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing operating budgets, capital projects, and P&L responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of industrial facility systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, boilers, compressed air, water treatment, building automation systems, and production-support utilities.
• Experience developing and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational improvement opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
