Job Description

If you're a culinary leader who loves being in the kitchen, mentoring teams, creating great food, and building meaningful relationships with residents, this could be the opportunity for you.

At Aramark SeniorLIFE+, we believe dining is about more than meals. It's about comfort, connection, hospitality, and creating moments that brighten someone's day. Our teams have the privilege of serving seniors across independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and memory care communities, helping residents feel cared for through every dining experience.

We're looking for a General Manager to lead dining services for our partnership with ArchCare Carmel Richmond in Staten Island, NY, supporting approximately 300 residents across the communities. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for leading a complex healthcare dining operation while supporting a recent account transition and building a culture centered on hospitality, accountability, and service excellence. Unlike many traditional General Manager roles, this position is highly focused on the culinary and resident experience. We're seeking a leader who enjoys being actively engaged with the food, visible with the team, and present with residents.

In this role, you'll lead all aspects of the dining program, including culinary execution, food quality, resident satisfaction, team development, financial performance, compliance, and client relationships. You'll partner closely with residents, families, clinical teams, and community leadership while ensuring the operation remains survey-ready, financially sound, and focused on delivering exceptional dining experiences every day.

Success in this role requires strong food service leadership experience, a passion for serving seniors, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, clients, and team members. Experience within senior living, healthcare, long-term care, rehabilitation, hospitality, or other high-volume foodservice environments is highly valued. If you believe great food and genuine hospitality can make a difference in someone's quality of life, we'd like to meet you.
