Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales Growth:
- Order Delivery: Ensure timely delivery of commissary orders according to the preset schedule.
- Credit Processing: Ensure inmate credits, damages, and replacements are processed promptly.
- Customer Service: Maintain a strong customer service background to address and resolve inmate complaints and grievances.
- Client Interface: Act as a liaison between the facility and Union Supply, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
Operational Excellence:
- Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with USCS contracts across all facility locations.
- Business Acumen: Creatively growth the business. (i.e., identify operational efficiencies, upsell, knowledge in the marketplace).
- Warehouse Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse commissary operations, including printing, picking/packing, and shipping.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and resolve any issues.
- Long-Range Planning: Plan for commissary scheduling during holidays and special events.
- Inventory Control: Manage on-site inventory control, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and processing orders.
- Policy Development: Establish and maintain written local operating policies and procedures.
- Maintenance: Maintain accountability for all USG equipment, supplies, and products.
- Security Clearance: Maintain correctional facility security clearance.
- Emergency Planning: Develop alternate operational plans for emergencies and unanticipated incidents.
- Physical requirement: Perform tasks that require physical activity, such as lifting and moving packages.
- Recruitment: Recruit, interview, hire, and administer corrective actions for personnel.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct employee performance reviews as per company policy.
- Scheduling: Holiday schedules, state observed holidays, and or facility closures.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
- Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Strong customer service background.
- Excellent organizational skills
