Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Unload incoming shipments and verify products received against delivery documentation.
- Sort, organize, and stage products according to delivery routes and operational needs.
- Review inventory levels and assist with routine inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Receive, inspect, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Follow inventory control procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out) practices when applicable.
- Pick and prepare products, materials, and supplies for distribution and transportation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and other approved material-handling equipment after training.
- Load and unload products safely while maintaining production and accuracy standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, loading dock, and storage areas.
- Complete inventory records, receiving logs, inspection reports, and other warehouse documentation.
- Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and PPE guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, vendors, and customers to support daily operations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying start and end times based on business needs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing throughout the shift.
- Basic reading, writing, communication, and math skills.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a warehouse environment.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, logistics, distribution, or material handling experience.
- Experience unloading trucks and organizing inventory.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
