The Retail Warehouse Worker is responsible for supporting the setup, operation, and breakdown of retail infrastructure during events. This includes assembling merchandise grids, distributing point-of-sale systems, and arranging tables to ensure retail areas are fully functional and visually organized. The role also involves transporting merchandise from backstock to various retail locations throughout the event, maintaining inventory flow and presentation standards. This position is essential to the smooth execution of retail operations and requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $19.00 to $19.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for receiving merchandise and proper storage of the delivered products.
  • Operate heavy machinery including, but not limited to pallet jacks, etc.
  • Ensure security of inventory and company assets.
  • Assemble and dismantle event infrastructure, including merchandise grids, tables, and point-of-sale systems, in preparation for and following event operations.
  • Upkeep of store presentation by setting up displays, maintaining visual standards, and assisting with product placement, signage, inventory, and seasonal transitions to enhance customer experience.
  • Transport and distribute backstock merchandise to designated retail locations throughout the event as required.
  • Load and unload pallets from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient handling of goods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and event areas by collecting and properly disposing of packaging materials, boxes, and other debris as needed.

Qualifications

  • The Retail Warehouse Worker reports directly to the Retail Manager. This role functions as part of the event logistics and retail operations team, working closely with other retail Frontline Associates to ensure timely and accurate execution of event preparations and merchandise distribution.

     

    To perform the essential job functions effectively, the position requires:

     

    • Ability to safely assemble and disassemble retail infrastructure, including but not limited to tables, grid, and point-of-sale systems. Must be capable of lifting and transporting merchandise and equipment across various event locations.

     

    • Strong attention to detail and time management to ensure merchandise is delivered promptly and retail areas are fully operational before event start times.

     

    • Clear communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to real-time needs during events. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

     

    • Flexibility to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments and adjust to changing event needs, including varying schedules, weather conditions, and physical demands.
    • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
