The Premium Kitchen Cook is responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes in accordance with the elevated culinary standards. This role requires exceptional cooking skills, strong attention to detail, and consistent execution of premium recipes and plating guidelines. Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $20.61 to $28.61. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation & Cooking

    • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality specifications.
    • Execute premium cooking techniques, including sautéing, grilling, roasting, braising, and finishing.
    • Ensure all dishes are presented with refined, high‑end plating standards.
    • Maintain consistent flavor, texture, and presentation in every dish.

    Kitchen Operations

    • Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area at all times.
    • Monitor food quality and freshness; rotate stock to maintain optimal product standards.
    • Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures.

    Team Collaboration

    • Communicate clearly with culinary staff and support seamless kitchen operations.
    • Assist with training new line cooks or prep staff as directed by leadership.
    • Support the Head Chef or Sous Chef with special tasks, seasonal menu items, and food preparation.

    Safety & Compliance

    • Uphold all food safety and sanitation regulations (ServSafe standards preferred).
    • Adhere to kitchen safety protocols and proper equipment usage.
    • Report any equipment malfunctions, food safety concerns, or hazards promptly.

Qualifications

  • Required

    • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a high-end, premium, or fine-dining kitchen.
    • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and premium ingredients.
    • Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced service with consistency.
    • Excellent knife skills and food preparation expertise.
    • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

    Preferred

    • Culinary degree or formal culinary training.
    • Experience working in upscale hotels, resorts, or signature restaurants.
    • ServSafe or equivalent food handler certification.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand for long periods.
    • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
    • Capacity to work in hot, fast-paced environments.

    Work Schedule

    • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
