Position Summary

The Gotham Club Bartender is responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing outstanding guest service, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. This role requires strong mixology skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, upscale environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, a confident presence behind the bar, and a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with members and guests.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $26.22 to $26.22. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, consistency, and high-quality presentation.
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to Gotham Club members and guests, creating a warm and memorable experience.
  • Maintain full knowledge of cocktail recipes, beer/wine lists, specials, and club events.
  • Manage bar setup, restocking, organization, and breakdown before and after service.
  • Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, club policies, and safety standards.
  • Monitor guest consumption and responsibly promote safe alcohol practices.
  • Handle cash, member charges, and POS transactions accurately.
  • Support game-day operations, private events, and specialty functions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar area, tools, glassware, and equipment at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, efficient service.

Qualifications

 

  • 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, hotel, private club, or upscale lounge.
  • Strong mixology skills with knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
  • Excellent communication and guest service abilities.
  • Awareness of responsible alcohol service regulations (e.g., CA RBS certification preferred).
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and all San Francisco Giants home games.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Professional, polished appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in private club or premium hospitality environments.
  • Familiarity with event bartending or specialty beverage programs.
  • Wine knowledge and/or certifications (e.g., WSET) a plus.
  • Creative cocktail development experience.
