Job Description

The Catering Supervisor plays a key role in coordinating and executing catered events at Oracle Park, including game‑day hospitality, corporate meetings, private events, and special functions throughout the venue. This position leads event staff, ensures accurate event setup, maintains service standards, and supports seamless execution from start to finish. The role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $31.50 to $35.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Event Operations

    • Oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of catered events, meetings, and functions throughout the ballpark.
    • Review event orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate room layout, décor, equipment, and food & beverage setup.
    • Maintain smooth service flow during events by coordinating with culinary, bar, and operations teams.
    • Troubleshoot event-day issues quickly and professionally.
    • Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and guest‑ready at all times.

    Leadership & Staff Supervision

    • Lead catering servers, banquet staff, and support teams during events.
    • Conduct pre‑event briefings outlining event details, service expectations, and assignments.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and on‑the‑floor support throughout service.
    • Assist in training new staff on catering standards, safety guidelines, and service procedures.

    Guest Service

    • Deliver warm, professional, and attentive service throughout all events.
    • Interact directly with clients, vendors, and guests to address questions or concerns.
    • Ensure client needs are met and event details are executed according to expectations.
    • Serve as the on-site point of contact for event hosts during assigned events.

    Safety, Compliance & Procedures

    • Ensure compliance with food safety, health regulations, and alcohol service policies.
    • Monitor staff adherence to ServSafe, RBS, and company protocols.
    • Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or operational concerns promptly.

    Administrative & Operational Support

    • Assist with event setup diagrams, inventory tracking, and post-event reporting.
    • Help manage staffing schedules and event assignments as needed.
    • Support equipment handling, storage organization, and replenishment of supplies.
    • Coordinate with warehouse and support teams to ensure equipment and product availability.

Qualifications

  • Required:

    • 1–2 years of experience in catering, banquets, hospitality, or events.
    • Prior supervisory or team lead experience.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
    • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and all event/game days as scheduled.

    Preferred:

    • Experience in stadium, hotel, convention center, or large-volume catering environments.
    • Familiarity with BEOs, event layouts, or catering software.
    • ServSafe and RBS certification.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift up to 25–40 lbs and move banquet equipment.
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Comfortable navigating back-of-house spaces, stairs, and large event areas.
