Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes, maintaining safety standards, and supervising warehouse staff. This role plays a critical part in achieving productivity goals, managing inventory, and supporting the overall supply chain objectives.

Job Responsibilities

· Team Management:

o Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and standards.

o Delegate tasks to team members ensuring workload distribution is efficient and deadlines are met.

o Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

· Operations Management:

o Oversee unloading of incoming shipments for accuracy against packing lists and purchase orders as well as inspecting goods for damage or defects and report any issues to management.

o Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance warehouse operations by monitoring and optimizing warehouse workflows, including picking, packing, shipping, and replenishment. Ensure accurate labeling, organization, and placement of inventory within the warehouse and that all merchandise is accessible.

o Receive go-backs from retail locations and restock merchandise into warehouse inventory along with updating corresponding paperwork and counts.

· Inventory Management:

o Perform regular cycle counts and maintain records; notify management of discrepancies and low stock levels and assist in reconciliation to ensure accurate stock levels.

o Monitor inventory for signs of shrinkage or damage and take appropriate action.

o Participate in all inventory counts and audits as assigned by management.

o Utilize inventory management systems to issue transfers for fulfillment and to track inventory and streamline processes. Prepare and submit reports as needed.

· Order Fulfillment:

o Pick and pack items for delivery to retail store or e-commerce fulfillment with accuracy and efficiency.

o Prepare shipments by assembling boxes and pallets with corresponding documentation for tracking.

o Load product onto delivery vehicles adhering to safety protocols and shipping schedules.

· Safety and Cleanliness:

o Safely operate any and all warehouse equipment as needed (training will be provided if necessary).

o Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and local laws. Identify and report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management.

Qualifications

· At least 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.

· Knowledge of inventory management systems.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Basic math and counting skills required.

· Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
