Manager, Analytics Engineering
Department: Supply Chain Data Intelligence 

As the Manager, Analytics Engineering you will serve as the primary architect for our data innovation bridge, transforming dimensional data models into high-performance semantic layers for AI / BI tools. This is a highly hands-on technical leadership role focused on architecting scalable data systems and ensuring high-fidelity data quality. You will own the logic, code optimization, and technical documentation required to solve key business needs.

Location: Philadelphia, PA or Rockville, MD 

Job Responsibilities

•    Semantic Layer Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of semantic logic and AI pipelines that bridge raw data sources and customer-facing analytics.
•    Code Optimization: Transition legacy logic into clean, optimized SQL structures and dbt-ready environments to ensure a unified "Source of Truth".
•    Rapid Delivery: Build rapid data prototypes and validated data models to address immediate supply chain challenges.
•    Technical Excellence: Responsible for validating logic functionality and ensuring technical documentation is complete for long-term scalability.
•    Resource Management: Direct the efforts of technical support staff to accelerate engineering delivery.

Qualifications

•    Expert SQL: Mastery of SQL with the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries for global data sets.
•    Data Modeling: Proven experience architecting semantic layers and scalable data systems.
•    dbt Knowledge: Experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools is strongly preferred.
•    Modern Data Warehouses: Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalent enterprise platforms.
•    Hands-on Leadership: A "player-coach" mentality with a track record of delivering technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
