Title:  Floor Stock Clerk - Methodist Richardson Bush Renner Med Ctr - Food

Job Description

The Floor Stock Clerk is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock/products, preparing, and completing orders for delivery and stocking, and performing inventory and quality control. This person ensures the storage areas are clean, organized, and maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Schedule: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Weekends and Holidays Required

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality, temperature, and damage to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products.
• Utilize the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method to organize all storage locations.
• Assist with labeling and documentation of all items in storage.
• Load and/or unload supplies, or products staged on carts.
• Utilize the NetMenu for inventory control and distribution of supplies.
• Perform physical inventory as needed or requested.
• Deliver, shelf, and stock supplies in a neat, orderly manner.
• Check expiration dates and rotate, or un-stock items as necessary.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or management team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic math and counting skills required
• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
