Job Description

The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the hotel’s daily financial transactions, running end-of-day reports, and handling front desk responsibilities during overnight hours. This role combines accounting and guest service duties to ensure smooth overnight operations and accurate financial reporting.

Shift: Night Shift (11 PM - 7 AM)

Long Description

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $19.39 to $26.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform nightly audit of all hotel transactions and balance revenue reports
  • Run daily reports for management and accounting teams
  • Prepare folios for departing guests and assist with any billing questions
  • Communicate important shift information to the morning team
  • Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and end-of-day reporting
  • Greet late-arriving guests, process check-ins and check-outs, and respond to guest needs
  • Prepare shift reports and relay important information to morning staff and management
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Previous front desk or night audit experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working overnight shifts with minimal supervision
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and end-of-day reporting
  • Proficient with property management systems preferred but not required (e.g., OPERA, Maestro)

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
