Job Description
The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, linens, carpets, and designated amenities are cleaned and maintained to company standards. The supervisor ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies and procedures and may be required to perform hands-on cleaning tasks or administrative duties as needed.

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $25.47 to $25.47. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities
- Supports the Housekeeping Management Team with the daily operations of the department
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of assigned areas.
- Inspect rooms and public spaces to verify cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and support housekeeping staff to maintain performance and high morale.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens; assist with ordering and restocking as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Address guest concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, and other administrative tasks.
- Step in to perform housekeeping duties during peak times or staff shortages.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure all necessary repairs are completed and the area is thoroughly cleaned prior to guest arrival.
- Demonstrate leadership by consistently modeling professional behavior, adhering to company policies, and maintaining a high standard of personal presentation and communication. Act with integrity, respect, and accountability in all interactions.

Qualifications
• One year of previous supervisory or three years lead experience in housekeeping functions preferred.
• Position requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Demonstrates leadership potential.
• Read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions.
