Job Description

The Hospitality Worker II is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by booking reservations, assisting with guest needs, and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Long Description

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $14.61 to $24.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
  • Answer incoming calls, emails, and guest inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
  • Process payments, maintain accurate records, and complete shift-end reports.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate follow-up with management if needed.
  • Maintain familiarity with daily rates, group bookings, promotions, and package details.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk and lobby area.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
  • Track and report maintenance issues or room status discrepancies to housekeeping or engineering teams.
  • Assist with luggage storage, message delivery, and wake-up call requests.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, and brand standards.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year previous front desk, customer service, or receptionist role experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred
  • Operate a register and/or software system to accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and management
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in data entry, billing, and record-keeping
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficient with property management systems preferred but not required (e.g., OPERA, Maestro)
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus

 

 This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
