Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort. This role supports the Operations Manager by supervising staff, maintaining cleanliness standards, managing inventory, and upholding a positive and professional team culture. The supervisor is an essential contributor to the guest experience, employee housing standards, and operational efficiency.
 

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $22 to $22. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.​

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedule, train, coach, and oversee all housekeeping staff to ensure performance meets resort standards.
  • Maintain strong verbal communication and lead the team with a positive, supportive attitude.
  • Support onboarding and seasonal training for new and returning employees.
  • Ensure guestrooms, cabins, public spaces, employee housing areas, and back‑of‑house spaces meet cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Perform daily quality checks and work with Maintenance, Guest Services, and the Front Desk to resolve any room or facility issues promptly.
  • Manage labor costs within departmental guidelines and adjust staffing levels based on business needs.
  • Order, receive, stock, and inventory all housekeeping supplies and equipment while keeping accurate records.
  • Use (or learn to use) SMS, Kronos, Micros Excel, and MarketPro for scheduling, timekeeping, and supply management.
  • Uphold Aramark policies, environmental and safety guidelines, and National Park Service regulations.
  • Support guest service recovery efforts related to housekeeping concerns.
  • Assist with property preparations and operational needs during peak periods or special events.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, team leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote, seasonal resort environment.
  • Comfortable using or learning housekeeping management and reporting systems.
  • Ability to lift, carry, stand, bend, and perform housekeeping tasks as needed.
