Job Description

This position serves as a peer-to-peer representation for UAPB. The overall objective of this role is for the intern to serve as an intermediary between the student body and the dining team, while assisting with various objectives and working closely with Aramark’s Marketing Team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategically plan and curate video and photography for a variety of projects such as social media posts, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Create rapid turnaround and ensure timely delivery of completed videos while meeting project deadlines
  • Independently shoot high-quality photos and videos that produce captivating content to drive brand awareness while engaging with the audience and capitalizing on promotions and events
  • Assist with writing and crafting compelling captions, headlines, and narratives that enhance digital content
  • Utilize analytics to ensure content plans are data-driven, innovative, and capable of achieving measurable outcomes across various platforms, while tracking the effectiveness through measurable goals
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in video marketing, sharing insights and recommendations with the broader marketing team
  • Light office work
  • Assisting the Marketing team with daily tasks

Qualifications

  • Sophomore classification or higher
  • Some experience using graphic design software like Canva and/or Adobe
  • Effective communication and presentation skills; both verbally and in written form
  • Ability to communication in an appropriate manner in varying situations
  • Ability to work 10-20 hours per week.
  • Provide communications support to assigned area of responsibility 
  • Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to customer experience
  • Support customer experience strategies and perform duties accordingly
  • Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively 
  • Ability to comply with University policies 
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance

 This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
