Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of standard mixed drinks, be skilled in creating a positive atmosphere for our guests and deliver excellent customer service. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring guests have a great experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests according to standard recipes.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glasses, utensils, and restocking supplies as needed.
• Check customers' identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Handle all transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices.
• Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, and juice to prepare standard cocktails from memory.
• Ensure all alcohol is stored and handled in accordance with legal and company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service, address customer concerns or requests, and engage with patrons to create a positive atmosphere.
• Assist with opening and closing the bar, including inventory checks, cleaning, and organizing the bar area.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender (minimum of 1-2 years preferred).
• Knowledge of standard mixed drinks, cocktails, and micro brews.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• TIPS or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).
• Must be 21 years or older.
