Job Description

The Vice President, MaetaData serves as the commercial leader of Aramark’s MaetaData business, responsible for external revenue growth, product strategy, and full P&L performance. This role drives the commercial success of MaetaData’s sustainability and local sourcing reporting platforms by defining and executing a clear go‑to‑market strategy, pricing and packaging model, and customer growth plan.
 
Operating MaetaData as a growth-oriented data and insights platform within a large enterprise, this leader balances entrepreneurial agility with enterprise discipline. The VP aligns commercial strategy and product direction, translating customer and market needs into differentiated, revenue‑generating solutions. This includes ensuring that the product roadmap directly supports sales growth, customer retention, and market differentiation.
 
The role partners closely with technology, responsible sourcing, marketing, supply chain, IT, and legal teams to ensure platform development and delivery meet market expectations. As the external face of the business, the VP strengthens customer trust, builds market presence, and drives long-term commercial value.

Job Responsibilities

General Management & P&L Leadership
Own the MaetaData P&L, driving revenue growth, margin performance, and customer retention. Lead the annual operating plan, growth targets, and investment priorities. Operate MaetaData as a business within a business, balancing agility, accountability, and enterprise governance.
 
Go‑to‑Market Strategy & Commercial Execution
Develop and execute the full go‑to‑market strategy for MaetaData’s sustainability and local sourcing reporting platforms. Define target segments, value propositions, and priority use cases. Own pricing, packaging, and commercial terms across the portfolio. Build customer acquisition, renewal, and expansion plans supported by performance metrics. Partner with marketing on effective demand generation initiatives.
 
Product & Portfolio Leadership
Serve as the product executive for the MaetaData portfolio, aligning the roadmap to commercial priorities. Translate customer needs and market signals into differentiated, revenue‑generating product capabilities. Balance near‑term revenue opportunities with long‑term platform evolution. Ensure product strategy supports sustainability and local sourcing transparency.
 
Technology Partnership & Delivery Alignment
Act as the primary liaison to technology teams to prioritize development, maintenance, and platform reliability. Ensure delivery timelines and quality meet customer expectations and reporting cycles. Balance innovation with stability to maintain trust in MaetaData’s externally consumed data and reporting outputs.
 
Customer Leadership & Retention
Serve as executive sponsor for key customers, building long‑term relationships and confidence in MaetaData’s insights. Partner with responsible sourcing teams to support client needs. Anticipate opportunities for growth, manage customer expectations, and ensure strong retention outcomes. Establish a structured customer engagement model that supports onboarding, adoption, and ongoing value realization.
 
Market Presence & External Representation
Represent MaetaData at industry events and forums, building market awareness and demand. Strengthen MaetaData’s reputation as a trusted provider of sustainability and supply chain transparency insights.
 
Cross‑Functional Influence & Collaboration
Influence across marketing, supply chain, responsible sourcing, IT, legal, and other teams to accelerate growth. Create operating rhythms that align stakeholders on priorities, roadmap decisions, and commercial performance.
 
People Leadership
Provide coaching, direction, and prioritization across commercial and product teams. Build a high‑accountability culture that supports clarity of ownership, scalability, and sustained commercial performance.
 

Qualifications

Experience:
Fifteen or more years leading growth‑focused initiatives, ideally within software, data products, sustainability solutions, or similar fields. Proven track record in commercial leadership, product strategy, and cross‑functional influence.
 
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required. MBA or comparable leadership experience preferred.

Travel up to approximately 25%, including potential international travel.
