Job Description
Summary:
The Learning and Development Specialist assesses training and development needs for ~40 team member HR Service Center organization. The L&D Specialist will also design, develop, and oversee employee training programs. The L&D Specialist works under the direction and support of the HRSC Director in close partnership with HRSC Supervisors and Senior Managers.

- Manage new hire training and continuous learning programs
- Conduct training needs assessment through analyzing quality assurance results, customer service surveys, team performance data, etc.
- Identify gaps in new hire, remedial, developmental, and skills training and develop training content as needed
- Facilitate trainings and attend team meetings to deliver refresher content
- Partner with leadership to ensure training plans and content align with team and organizational goals
- Partner with COEs, Field HR, and internal leadership on process improvements, service enhancements, etc.; communicate and develop training for changes to process and services
- Shadow HR Coordinators and Agents to provide one on one feedback
- All other duties as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in Training, Learning and Development, and/or Human Resources preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Moderate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite required; experience with training software preferred
- Experience with training and coaching others required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Works well in fast paced, continuously improving environment
