Job Description
The Strategic Sourcing Manager-Consumer Packaged Goods manages an assigned portfolio of consumer packaged goods categories and supplier relationships across Aramark Managed Services and Avendra International’s group purchasing organization business. The portfolio focuses on retail snack products, with specific category assignments determined based on team needs. This individual contributor role has no direct reports and leads sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations that deliver competitive pricing, rebates, and other commercial benefits while supporting customer and operational needs.
Working independently, with guidance and training from the Senior Director, the manager develops category strategies, analyzes supplier proposals, and manages agreements from negotiation through implementation and ongoing performance. Success requires proactive planning, strong commercial judgment, detailed financial analysis, and productive supplier relationships. The role includes managing established suppliers and contracts and identifying new supplier opportunities.
