Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for facilitating effective support of the leadership team. The focus of the position will be to assist in defining, leading and tracking of projects and helping to keep deliverables on-track and meet the project objectives.

 

This position is open to remote candidates.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conceptual planning through design, construction and closeout. Manage diverse group of constituents to initiate and deliver projects of high aesthetic and functional quality, with very aggressive budget and schedule parameters.
  • Ability to assist and manage multiple projects in various locations within or outside a given geographic area.
  • Coordinate and manage developing conceptual, design/ development and final total project budget estimates, and track all project cost against
  • Conduct project feasibility analysis for sales teams and develop Capital Projects Budget Estimates
  • Produce project master schedules with MS Project, and track progress
  • Coordinate technical activities on assigned projects.
  • Solicit and review consultant and contractor proposals.
  • Manage procurement activities
  • Manage consultants and contractors to meet project parameters as contracted.
  • Monitor work for compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, best practices, Aramark standards, and contract requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and provide creative solutions pertaining to engineering, design, and construction means, methods, and materials.
  • Maintain project data in SharePoint, and monitor project pipeline, and provide weekly project status reports to Project Director
  • Assist in collecting and permit filing of information pertaining to planning, design, pre-construction, agency approvals, construction documentation, and closeout packages, for corporate and client records.
  • Assist & coordinate project activities with client departments such as facilities maintenance, Public Safety, IT, Regulatory Affairs, Events, and administrators to ensure all parties are well-informed and that work proceeds on schedule with minimal impact.
  • Research, prepare, and present reports and presentations as requested.
  • Project financial monitoring/tracking/reporting
  • Acts as liaison with contracted architectural/engineering companies to ensure plan is being adhered to and needs met.
  • Collaborates with the staff of facilities, physical plant, and various client appointed personnel to ensure smooth transitions for project planning through closeout and operations.
  • Coordination of project close-out activities

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success leading design and construction projects
  • Bachelors Degree required with formal education in architecture, planning, engineering, or construction management
  • Architectural, food service design, and technical engineering (mechanical, plumbing, electrical) knowledge and awareness of details in order to be able to recognize when problems are developing in the various disciplines, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Construction oversight experience
  • Proficiency in MS Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel as required by project assignments
  • Exceptional judgment, integrity, and the ability to build partnerships with diverse groups
  • Ability to assess and identify appropriate project resources and consultant needs across a variety of project types
  • Ability to establish priority needs in order to provide a high level of service to multiple clients at multiple locations
  • Working knowledge of health inspection review and process for dining facilities
  • Working knowledge of hazardous materials, identification, and remediation means & methods
  • Working knowledge of design and construction legal documents and contractual terms and conditions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all phases of project delivery: schematic planning, design, construction, and closeout
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate diverse teams of internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and track comprehensive budgets and master schedules using MS Project
  • Oversee technical activities, ensuring compliance with codes, industry standards, and company requirements
  • Solicit, review, and manage consultant and contractor proposals and performance
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among clients, facilities, IT, regulatory, and other departments
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained and archived in SharePoint
  • Present project updates and reports to executive leadership and other key audiences
  • Oversee compliance with health inspections, hazardous materials management, and construction within healthcare facilities

Compensation

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting. ​​
