The Marketing & Facilities Category Manager is a strategic procurement professional responsible for the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for Marketing and Facilities-related categories. This role serves as a key business partner to the Marketing, Communications, Operations, and Facilities functions, driving value through strategic sourcing, supplier qualification, contract negotiation, and post-award administration. The position operates within a matrix management structure and requires a self-directed individual who can navigate complex organizational dynamics while delivering results.
The Manager is accountable for category spend across Marketing Services, Brand & Creative, Media & Advertising, Digital Marketing Technology, as well as Facilities Management, and Real Estate & Workplace Services. This individual will provide procurement support, partnering closely with enterprise stakeholders to develop Statements of Work, execute RFx processes, and negotiate complex contracts, while ensuring full compliance with Federal and internal procurement regulations. The Manager will also support approximately 10 enterprise programs across the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities

The Marketing & Facilities Category Manager leads strategic sourcing initiatives across key Marketing and Facilities spend categories, with Marketing as the primary area of focus. The ideal candidate will bring deep marketing procurement expertise, working knowledge of facilities sourcing, and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously within a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
This role requires strong business acumen and the ability to assess supplier markets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive continuous improvement across category management practices. The Manager will exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations and effectively influence outcomes without direct authority.
Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Marketing (Primary Focus)
•    Lead strategic sourcing activities for Marketing categories including Marketing Services, Brand & Creative, Media & Advertising, and Digital Marketing Technology
•    Develop and execute RFx processes (RFP, RFQ, RFI) in partnership with Marketing, Legal, and Digital Technology stakeholders
•    Draft and negotiate complex contracts including agency-of-record agreements, media buys, licensing agreements, pricing models, payment terms, SLAs, and non-standard terms & conditions 
•    Lead the development and execution of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with key marketing vendors, establishing foundational commercial terms, liability frameworks, and governance structures that support downstream SOWs and project-based engagements
•    Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) for marketing engagements and ensure alignment with business requirements and procurement standards
•    Manage creative and media agency relationships, including supplier qualification, onboarding, performance evaluation, and contract renewals; proactively assess vendor-proposed price increases at renewal to determine what value they represent, and negotiate to secure additional value or offset cost escalation where possible
•    Partner with Marketing leadership to align sourcing strategies with brand objectives, campaign timelines, and enterprise communications priorities
•    Support digital marketing technology procurement, including SaaS platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems
Facilities
•    Support strategic sourcing activities for Facilities categories including Facilities Management, Real Estate & Workplace Services, MRO, and related operational services
•    Partner with Facilities and Operations stakeholders to develop SOWs and execute sourcing events for facility maintenance, janitorial, security, and workplace services contracts
•    Administer post-award contract activities for facilities vendors including amendments, renewals, compliance tracking, and performance management
Program Support
•    Provide procurement support across approximately 10 enterprise programs, including supplier management
•    Coordinate with stakeholders to assess procurement needs
•    Maintain procurement documentation and compliance tracking across supported programs
General
•    Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal procurement policies and procedures
•    Operate effectively within a matrix management structure, influencing and aligning cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
•    Communicate clearly and professionally at all organizational levels, including executive leadership, Legal, Finance, and external suppliers
•    Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain and contractual risk across the category portfolio
•    Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and value realization
•    Prepare and present category strategies, sourcing recommendations, and performance reporting to leadership

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
•    5+ years of strategic sourcing and/or procurement experience, with demonstrated expertise in Marketing-related categories
•    Direct experience sourcing Marketing Services, Creative & Brand, Media & Advertising, and/or Digital Marketing Technology
•    Working knowledge of Facilities procurement, including facility management services, real estate, and workplace services categories
•    3-5 years of hands-on experience developing Statements of Work and Master Service Agreements (MSAs), lead RFx events, and negotiate complex commercial contracts including agency agreements, licensing, pricing models, and non-standard terms & conditions; demonstrated experience partnering with Legal to efficiently progress contract redlines and drive timely resolution required
•    Experience providing procurement support across multiple programs or workstreams simultaneously
•    Experience with supplier qualification, contract award, and post-award contract administration
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong experience operating within a matrix management structure
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage and present effectively with all levels of the organization and with external suppliers
•    Experience partnering with Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams on procurement initiatives
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
•    Proficiency with procurement systems, contract management platforms, and standard office productivity tools
•    High degree of professionalism, integrity, and sound business judgment
Travel
Minimal; as needed to support business requirements.

Benefits

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $70,00-$90,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
