Job Description
Reports to the Director, Inclusive Sourcing, the Manager Inclusive Sourcing is responsible for, in partnership with the Director to manage the inclusive sourcing strategy and related initiatives for Aramark and Avendra International GPO. This role will support the design and ongoing implementation of inclusive sourcing program elements. The role is expected to build strong relationships externally and internally across Global Supply Chain, Procurement, GPO partnerships and other stakeholders that support enterprise efforts in building a leading Global Inclusive Sourcing program.
This position is based in Philadelphia, PA.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Manager, Inclusive Sourcing:
• Evaluate Businesses: Assess small or underrepresented businesses against Aramark and Avendra International standards. Provide sourcing recommendations based on supplier viability and market competitiveness.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with key stakeholders to develop and implement systems, policies, and procedures for managing contracts and communications with small or underrepresented suppliers.
• Support Sales Team: Assist with RFP responses and retention efforts related to Inclusive Sourcing. Participate in client meetings, business unit meetings, and sales presentations as needed.
• Stay Informed: Maintain awareness of legislation, certifying agencies, and economic trends related to small business and supplier diversity.
• Champion Supplier Diversity: Manage external participation with Supplier Diversity advocacy groups as assigned (e.g., WBENC, NMSDC, NGLCC, Disability:IN, WeConnect International, etc…). Develop and execute engagement strategies. Represent the company at meetings, conferences, and events upon request.
• Foster Supplier Relationships: Build relationships with diverse and non-diverse suppliers to support Aramark’s inclusive sourcing strategy and alignment with broader ESG initiatives where applicable. Identify qualified suppliers to increase spend and collaborate with procurement to expand these relationships.
• Participate in Surveys: Work with DEI, Community Relations, and Sustainability groups on external benchmark surveys and collaboration projects.
• Track Inclusion Efforts: Establish and monitor processes to track supply chain inclusion efforts and outcomes. Align with Global Supply Chain and Procurement on spend and inclusion targets.
• Provide Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on supplier diversity matters. Create and deliver Supplier Diversity training using best practices.
• Manage Relationships: Support management of third-party data enrichment providers. Manage partnerships supporting supplier diversity analytics and engagement activities.
• Manage Spend: Assist with management of supplier diversity spend reporting and analytics for Tier 1, Tier 1.5 through distribution and Tier 2 program.
• Maintain Certifications: Ensure supplier diversity certifications and self-certifications are up to date.
• Represent the Company: Represent Aramark and Avendra International at external events, conferences, and industry meetings as requested.

Qualifications
Role Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Excellent organizational skills, including strict attention to detail and a demonstrated capability to consistently meet or exceed deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
• Ability to build relationships across departments and with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; intermediate skills in Excel including vlookups, countifs, sumifs, and pivot tables
• Resourceful problem solver who can work independently
• Emphasis on Quality & Continuous Improvement
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS Degree (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, Supply Chain) or equivalent years' experience
• Procurement and supply chain experience is a plus.
• Highly proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills – effectiveness in prioritizing work, ability to multitask and comfort
• with ambiguity
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
• Ability to work within a matrix environment, build strong cross-functional relationships.
