Job Description

The Lead Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional fine dining experience within the Executive Dining Room and providing day-to-day support to the catering service team when necessary. This position serves as the primary point of contact during meal periods, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, professionalism, food presentation, and service execution for executive-level guests and visitors.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Hospitality

• Provide attentive, personalized, and professional table service to executives, guests, and VIP visitors.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve service concerns in a courteous and timely manner.
• Maintain a polished and welcoming dining environment that reflects executive-level service standards.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, allergens, and beverage selections.

Dining Room Operations

• Coordinate executive dining room setup and ensure all tables, service stations, and meeting spaces are prepared for service.
• Serves food to executives while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the executives’ needs
• Responsible for preparing and/or builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions and adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures in the executive dining area.
• Maintain inventory of service supplies and communicate replenishment needs to management.
• Ensure dining room cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
• Ensure the meals are prepared and completed to high-quality standards
• Support catered meetings, executive functions, board meetings, and special events.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Handle confidential information and executive interactions with professionalism and discretion.
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes work, prep and storage stations
• Follow company policies, client requirements, and service standards at all times.
• Maintain compliance with uniform, grooming, and appearance requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of upscale dining, executive dining, hospitality, hotel, country club, or fine dining experience.
• Prior leader serr=ver or trainer experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Previous food service experience
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred

• Executive dining room, corporate hospitality, private club, or luxury hotel experience.
• Food handler certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience supporting VIP events and executive-level clientele.
