Title: Junior Project Manager

Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting and leading assigned capital and renovation projects from schematic planning through design, construction, and closeout. This role partners with internal stakeholders, clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver projects that meet functional, aesthetic, budgetary, and schedule expectations across multiple locations.
This position is open to remote candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support all phases of project delivery, including schematic planning, design, construction, and closeout.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently across various geographic locations, with oversight appropriate to project scope and complexity.
- Assist in developing conceptual, design-development, and final project budget estimates; track and report project costs against approved budgets.
- Conduct project feasibility analyses in partnership with sales and business development teams and develop capital project budget estimates.
- Develop, maintain, and track master project schedules using MS Project; proactively identify and address schedule risks.
- Coordinate technical activities on assigned projects, ensuring alignment across multiple disciplines.
- Solicit, review, and support selection of consultant and contractor proposals in accordance with company standards.
- Manage procurement activities related to assigned projects.
- Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor work for compliance with applicable codes, regulations, industry standards, best practices, company standards, and contractual obligations.
- Provide technical input and practical solutions related to engineering, design, and construction methods, materials, and sequencing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and pipeline tracking within SharePoint and other designated systems.
- Assist with the collection, preparation, and submission of documentation related to permitting, agency approvals, construction documentation, and project closeout for corporate and client records.
- Coordinate project activities with internal client departments (e.g. Facilities Maintenance, IT, Public Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Events, and Administration) to minimize operational disruption and ensure alignment.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and presentations for internal leadership and external stakeholders, as requested.
- Support project financial monitoring, tracking, and reporting activities.
- Serve as a liaison with contracted architectural and engineering firms to ensure project requirements are understood and executed as planned.
- Collaborate with facilities and client-appointed personnel to support smooth transitions from project closeout to operations.
- Coordinate and support project closeout activities, including documentation, inspections, and final approvals.
- Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and level of the role.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- 1-3 years of demonstrated experience supporting or leading design and construction projects.
- Formal education in architecture, planning, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge & Skills
- Working knowledge of architectural design, foodservice design, and technical engineering disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, electrical).
- Ability to identify potential issues across disciplines and escalate appropriately.
- Experience with construction oversight and coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to assess project resource needs and support consultant selection across varying project types.
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively while supporting multiple clients and projects.
- Working knowledge of health inspection processes for dining and foodservice facilities.
- Working knowledge of hazardous materials identification and remediation practices.
- Working knowledge of design and construction legal documents, including contracts, scopes of work, and general terms and conditions.
- Demonstrated judgment, integrity, and ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel approximately 30-60%, as required by project assignments.
- Ability to work in office, construction, and operational environments as needed.

Compensation
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
