Job Description

In this role as an HRIS Principal Analyst, you will support and optimize internal HR systems and applications. You will work with the HR team to ensure data accuracy, provide timely end-user functional and technical support, and drive process improvement. With a focus on data integrity and process & system optimization, this role will develop strategies to provide information to HR, employees, and managers, through the development of system functionality, end-user support, and special projects.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides hands-on support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Role-Based Permissions modules.
  • Understand, configure, and optimize SuccessFactors Employee Central, including metadata framework, object definitions, business rules and workflows.
  • Administer Role-Based Permissions including creation and update of Permission Groups and Permission Roles. Advise other teams on best way to implement new RBP related requirements, ensuring naming conventions and standards are followed.
  • Work with the Technical Administration team on creation and maintenance of new non-employee users.
  • Conduct thorough testing of system changes in Preview/Test and Production environments.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in systemic processes, data governance, and security protocols.
  • Lead quarterly SOX activities including compiling, distributing, and reconciling multiple regional SOX recertification reports. Provide feedback to internal and external auditors as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 3 level issues related to Employee Central using ServiceNow HR Case Management; meet established service level agreements
  • Review, validate and process mass data upload requests using SuccessFactors import tool and Accenture HR Data Loader (HRDL).
  • Support evaluation of SAP SuccessFactors releases and fixes for system impacts, make recommendations, and participate in testing efforts.
  • Lead the planning and execution of systems related projects.
  • Proactively identify gaps and opportunities and leverage HRIS expertise to design creative business solutions which align with business strategy.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced HRIS analysts and team member

Qualifications

  • BA, BBA, or BS in Human Resources, Business or IT, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years’ experience administering SuccessFactors Employee Central module in a global environment is required. This includes role-based permissions, UI configuration, business rule configuration, workflow admin and data analysis. Recruiting and Onboarding 2.0 experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot transactional, master data and integration issues.
  • Experience completing root cause analysis, including solutions and recommendations.
  • Strong functional/business knowledge of core HR, Payroll, and IT business practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in time-sensitive situations with a keen attention to detail.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently and find/develop solutions for business requirements
  • Customer service, written and oral communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 especially Excel and its advanced function
