Financial Analyst, Supply Chain

Aramark is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Finance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Management, Category Management, Finance, and Information Services to deliver impactful financial insights that drive procurement strategy and performance.

 

This individual is responsible for working with various Aramark Project teams, GSC & GPOs Category Managers, GSC & GPOs Finance, and SCM Information Services.  Key responsibilities include performing in-depth data analysis and communicating results and recommendations to various groups and cross-functional teams across the business.   

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply standardized and rigorous approach to financial analysis related to procurement such as:
    • Financial modeling for bid analysis
    • Gross / Net spend analytics
    • Plan / Forecasting analysis
    • LOB impact analysis

 

  • Develop and maintain monthly productivity value tracking including:
    • Interact with the sourcing team to identify programs and timing of enhancements.
    • Work with billing team to assess execution of enhancements and proper recognition of value created.
    • Prepare monthly reporting including reconciliation of actual results, forward projections, and BU performance

 

  • Manage monthly allowance forecast for manufacturer and distributor agreements
    • Report actual vs. plan variances by program
    • Adjust future forecast estimates based on business trends
    • Incorporate productivity enhancements into total program forecast

 

  • Participate in annual planning process
    • Gather outlook and updates from the procurement team related to sourcing initiatives, supplier agreements, and market changes.
    • Interact with LOB Finance and Operational teams to incorporate business updates and client base changes into annual operating plan targets.

 

 

  • Manage the preparation of special purpose or ad hoc analyses as required.

Position Scope

Position reports to the Finance Manager, Supply Chain. This individual is responsible for working with various GSC & GPOs and Aramark Project Teams on key corporate projects and initiatives.  Primary responsibilities include collecting and analyzing Aratrack, A/P, and NVD data related to and associated with various corporate projects and initiatives. Additionally responsible for communicating results and recommendations to various groups and cross-functional teams across the business.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Familiarity with Aramark’s data systems and data handling processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Access
  • Experience with Oracle Discoverer and SQL is desirable
  • Knowledge of ad hoc reporting systems is required
  • Comfortable operating a PC and working in a data-driven environment
