Job Description
The Director of Marketing translates brand strategy into revenue impact by enabling Sales and Go‑to‑Market teams with clear, consistent, and compelling messaging across all client‑facing materials. Partnering closely with Sales, Operations, and Functional teams, this leader develops sales‑ready content that improves win rates, accelerates pipeline growth, and maintains brand integrity. This role leads the strategic development and communication of marketing content to support sales growth, market insights, client acquisition and retention, and value creation across the Aramark Correctional Services line of business. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, creative leader with a strong passion for writing and storytelling.
Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate in the leadership of the strategy, development, and production of sales proposals and presentations, ensuring alignment with brand standards, growth objectives, and revenue goals
• Assess client requirements and develop pursuit strategies informed by research, stakeholder interviews, and business priorities
• Write, edit, and proofread proposal and sales content to ensure clarity, compliance, and persuasive impact
• Manage timelines, reviews, and approvals to ensure on‑time delivery and consistent quality throughout the process
• Clearly articulate the company’s value proposition and competitive differentiation across all sales and proposal materials
• Govern brand voice, messaging frameworks, and visual standards across sales, marketing, and proposal assets, ensuring corporate identity compliance, accuracy, and high‑quality visuals
• Maintain and enhance proposal boilerplates, templates, FAQs, and reusable content libraries to improve efficiency and consistency
• Synthesize content from multiple contributors into cohesive, compelling narratives with strong alignment between messaging, graphics, and layout
• Partner with proposal writers, designers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent execution and messaging
• Support the development of sales enablement materials, including sell sheets, videos, and templates, aligned to growth strategy
• Stay current on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform content strategy
• Regularly review content performance and leverage sales feedback and proposal outcomes to continuously refine messaging and strategy
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing within the Aramark Correctional Services team and work with other marketing team members across the business.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
The ideal candidate will have the following professional experience and skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in proposal writing, editing, brand marketing, and/or sales enablement
• Demonstrated success delivering complex, high‑value proposals and strategic sales content that drives business outcomes
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling messaging
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and influencing capabilities
• Client‑oriented, collaborative professional with a high degree of integrity and discretion
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
• Technically capable and comfortable learning and adopting new tools, technologies, and systems

EDUCATION
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
