Job Description
The Power Platform & Copilot Studio Administrator is a senior Information Technology professional responsible for governance, oversight, security hardening, and enterprise-wide management of Aramark’s Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio environments, as well as other approved AI solutions (Copilot, Claude, and Gemini) used across the enterprise. This role serves as the central platform owner and gatekeeper, with authority to approve, deny, remediate, or retire Power Platform environments, Copilot agents, apps, flows, and related AI capabilities, while providing best-practice guidance to ensure safe, compliant, and effective use by makers and end users. In addition, this role acts as an overall Microsoft product specialist—advising stakeholders on recommended Microsoft solutions and best practices for their needs, and guiding users through migrations from other platforms to Microsoft tools.
Job Responsibilities
Platform Governance & Ownership
• Act as the authoritative owner for Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps, and provide governance oversight for other approved AI solutions (Copilot, Claude, and Gemini).
• Approve or deny environments, Copilot agents, apps, flows, and AI usage patterns/requests for enterprise-managed Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude, and Gemini in alignment with enterprise standards.
• Define and enforce standards for architecture, connectors, licensing, data handling, retention, and DLP policies.
• Establish and maintain usage guidelines and guardrails for safe and compliant adoption of AI capabilities across the enterprise.
Microsoft Product Advisory & Migration Enablement
• Serve as a Microsoft product specialist, translating business requirements into recommended Microsoft solutions (e.g., M365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, Copilot) and reference architectures.
• Provide best-practice guidance on solution selection, information architecture, security and compliance considerations, and adoption patterns to maximize value and reduce risk.
• Partner with stakeholders to assess current-state tooling and usage (including non-Microsoft platforms), identify gaps, and define an actionable modernization roadmap.
• Guide users through migrations from other platforms to Microsoft tools, including planning, data/content migration approach, governance alignment, and change-management support.
• Document standards, decision trees, and reusable playbooks to ensure consistent solution recommendations and repeatable migration outcomes.
Security, Risk, and Compliance
• Partner with IT Security, Privacy, Risk, and Enterprise Architecture to implement and continuously improve governance controls across Power Platform and other AI solutions.
• Work with Information Security to ensure security hardening activities (configuration baselines, access controls, monitoring, auditing, and secure-by-default standards).
• Ensure compliance with data protection, licensing, and AI governance standards, including appropriate classification and acceptable-use guidance for users.
Hands-On Administration & Remediation
• Perform hands-on administration for complex scenarios and escalations spanning Power Platform/Copilot Studio and other approved AI solutions, as applicable.
• Monitor and remediate non-compliant agents and usage; coordinate incident response and corrective actions as needed.
• Shut down, quarantine, or retire non-compliant or high-risk assets in accordance with governance and security policies.
Enablement & Executive Communication
• Provide best-practice guidance, documentation, and training to makers and end users on approved AI solution usage, risks, and safe operating standards.
• Enable developers with guardrails, reusable patterns, and secure design standards to accelerate delivery while reducing risk.
• Translate complex technical and governance concepts into clear executive-level guidance, status, and recommendations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- Deep expertise with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.
- Strong governance, documentation, and executive communication skills.
- AI governance, Claude and other Microsoft stack knowledge Copilot, Gemini
