Job Description
The Director, LOB Supply Chain, is a strategic leader and key member of the Line of Business (LOB) team. Reporting to the Vice President, LOB Supply Chain, this role is responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that align with and support the overall business objectives of designated Lines of Business. The Director will serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Field teams driving alignment, executing programs, and fostering continuous improvement to deliver measurable value and business impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Own Supply Chain Performance: Drive supply chain execution and performance within assigned Lines of Business, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Be the Point Person: Serve as the main link between Supply Chain, Sourcing Team, and the Field fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Develop relationships with business units and functional teams to identify opportunities, share actionable insights, and facilitate execution.
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create tailored supply chain strategies that support overall LOB goals, activating and prioritizing initiatives to achieve results.
- Guide Procurement Alignment: Provide clear priorities, requirements, and constraints to sourcing teams to ensure procurement strategies meet LOB needs.
- Measure and Report Performance: Design and maintain LOB supply chain reports, KPIs, and scorecards to track and communicate performance metrics.
- Drive Rebates and Purchasing Efficiency: Identify opportunities to maximize rebate opportunities by ensuring the right suppliers, products, and programs are strategically leveraged.
- Support Sales and Retention: Represent supply chain in B2B engagements, propose solutions that strengthen client relationships, and provide procurement insights for client-facing discussions.
- Engage in Strategic Supplier Relationships: Function as a key stakeholder in supplier partnerships, advocating for LOB interests.
- Coordinate Procurement Implementation: Oversee the execution of sourcing strategies within designated Lines of Business, ensuring alignment and impact.
- Leverage Data for Impact: Collaborate with Supply Chain Analytics to deliver scorecards, KPIs, and actionable insights.
Qualifications
5+ years of continuous procurement, supply chain, or business optimization experience in large-scale organizations.
- Proven ability to balance both strategic and operational responsibilities.
- Accomplished in leading and working within a matrix environment, building strong cross-functional and cross-regional relationships.
- Experience interacting at senior levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical background with demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Project management experience with successful execution of complex initiatives.
- Experience in operations or support for Aramark Lines of Business is a plus.
