Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Kitchen / Culinary Administrator to support the daily operations of a fast-paced culinary environment. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth coordination of kitchen activities, administrative processes, and communication between culinary leadership and operations teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume setting, demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking skills, and has a passion for supporting culinary excellence behind the scenes.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the culinary and kitchen leadership team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations
- Coordinate and manage kitchen documentation, including production sheets, prep lists, and operational reports
- Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with ordering, and track deliveries to support kitchen operations
- Support cost control initiatives by monitoring food costs, invoices, and vendor pricing
- Assist in scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll support for culinary staff
- Prepare and maintain reports related to labor, purchasing, and kitchen performance metrics
- Ensure all documentation aligns with food safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate communication between the kitchen, front-of-house teams, vendors, and leadership
- Organize and maintain filing systems for recipes, menus, vendor contracts, and compliance records
- Support onboarding and training coordination for new culinary team members
- Assist with special projects, menu updates, and event-related administrative needs
- Help ensure readiness for inspections, audits, and operational reviews

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of administrative or coordination experience, preferably in a culinary, hospitality, or food service environment
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food production processes, or hospitality industry standards strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with inventory or POS systems a plus
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
