Job Description
The Aramark Community Relations Manager is a key member of the Community Relations team and plays a critical role in advancing the company’s community impact and volunteer programs. This role reports to the Director, Community Relations.
This position is responsible for managing enterprise-wide programs and partnerships that support Aramark Building Community (ABC), the company's global volunteer program. The role will also own the team's impact data management and reporting infrastructure to deliver project-level impact metrics that inform program strategy.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and collaborative leader with exceptional project management, communication, data analysis, and relationship-building skills. This individual will manage employee engagement and corporate giving programs, drive cross-functional initiatives, support the Director on project budgets and programmatic innovation, and work closely with company executives, employee volunteers, and community organizations to deliver measurable impact with a customer-centric mindset.
The team is highly collaborative and focused on delivering exceptional event management, problem solving and attentive service while executing multiple detailed events and service projects.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage and execute strategic community relations and employee volunteer programs that advance Aramark’s community impact goals.
• Work in partnership with Director of Community Relations to plan enterprise-wide volunteer initiatives, including Aramark Building Community (ABC) and Aramark Building Community Day, the company’s global day of service.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to company leaders, Employee Resource Groups, and cross-functional teams to implement community engagement initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Serve as the lead liaison for Aramark Star Teams, providing strategic guidance, project support, and year-round tracking to strengthen employee-led volunteer initiatives and leadership engagement.
• Develop communications for internal and external audiences, in partnership with Aramark’s corporate communications teams.
• Own and administer the team’s impact data management systems, including the Blackbaud platform, ensuring data integrity and robust reporting; analyze project-level impact metrics to measure program effectiveness and inform strategy.
• Support the Director of Community Relations on community relations project budgets, including tracking, forecasting, and expense monitoring.
• Partner closely with Director of Community Relations to build and foster long-term relationships with community-based organizations.
• Update and proactively maintain community data that supports business development in client retention efforts and new business opportunities.
• Partner with the Director of Community Relations to identify and pilot programmatic innovations that strengthen Aramark Building Community and other community engagement initiatives.
• Serve as a go-to resource on the Community Relations team, driving continuous improvement of team processes, tools, and best practices to sustain a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in community relations, CSR, employee engagement, nonprofit management, corporate communications, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex programs involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking skills and business acumen.
• Exceptional project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to thrive on a small, high-performing team and work independently when needed.
• Experience utilizing data and reporting tools, including donor/volunteer management platforms such as Blackbaud, to analyze project-level impact metrics and drive decision-making.
• Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and innovation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Power BI and related tools, prior experience with Blackbaud platform preferred.
